Details of the sample for the Federal Government
The Federal Government chose a combination of random selection and targeted sampling
In the federal sample, notifications from interest groups and from the Federal Complaints Office (external link) are taken into account to a maximum of 40% of the total sample. The FFG has invited interest groups to participate in the sampling. Websites or apps that are of particular importance to the target group and are subject to the Web Accessibility Act have been named by them for monitoring.
"Access to the digital world is an essential aspect of equal participation for people with disabilities. It is important that the implementation of the Web Accessibility Act is regularly reviewed in order to break down barriers and promote digital inclusion. The current monitoring report contributes to ensuring that key digital offerings are accessible."
