Scope of data processing

The purpose of the processing is the analysis of website usage. The data is used to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on website activity.

Matomo is hosted by FFG itself. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

Legal basis of data processing
The legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the FFG in accordance with Article 6(1) lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest is to make the website accessible to the public and to be able to carry out the processing necessary for the general operation of the website.

The purpose of processing is general operation.
Data retention period
The personal data will be deleted by the FFG as soon as the purpose of storage and processing ceases to apply, provided that there is no legal obligation for longer storage.

The data is provided to processors of the FFG (e.g. IT service providers) in the context of their contracts, which they procure for the FFG.

Right to information
You have the right to information about all data about you that is processed by the FFG.
Right to rectification and right to restriction of processing
You may request the rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.

You may request that the FFG send you or, where technically feasible, a third party designated by you a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
In addition, you have the right to transfer this data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to whom the personal data have been provided.

You have the right to have data deleted in certain circumstances, such as when they are not processed in accordance with data protection requirements.
In certain circumstances, you may request that the processing of data be restricted to the extent that it may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest.
